Campus Café 16 June: future of batteries
We are moving towards a world that relies on new energy sources. Think of batteries in electric cars. These batteries are gaining more and more power, which means they can also be used more and more widely, such as in aircraft. This offers opportunities, including for our region.
Several companies are working on these developments. Nationally, this is being driven from the Battery Competence Centre, which has applied on this theme for the National Growth Fund. From the University of Twente, the Twente Centre Advanced Battery Technology is developing, which is working intensively with other universities in Munster, Eindhoven and Leuven. Clustering creates collaborations that lead to a strong knowledge position and more business. But where exactly do we strengthen each other? What is possible, if we think big? Come to the Campus Cafe and join the discussion about what is needed to move this cluster forward!
This Campus Cafe is part of the Move East event.
