After maintenance, aircraft engines need to be tested. However, testing aircraft engines often causes a lot of noise nuisance. 4Silence makes products for noise reduction along (motor) roads and railways. Possibilities are being investigated to realise a solution for test run noise with 4Silence's unique invention. Initial research results indicate a startling noise reduction. In the coming period, this application will be tested in practice at Twente Airport and Rotterdam The Hague Airport. Yet another fine example of how we manage to connect cooperation partners within Technology Base.
