We are working on improving accessibility to and from the site. Two pilots have started this month and a carpool app and shared cars can be used.

Share cars

In cooperation with Baan Twente B.V., two share cars have been deployed to improve the connection to and from Enschede station. These cars are fully electric and sustainable and can be used by both employees and visitors from all companies on our site. In order to use the shared cars, an app must be installed that easily shows how to reserve one of the two cars.

Carpool app

In cooperation with the company Toogethr B.V., an app has been launched that allows people to drive together to and from Technology Base. The carpool app ‘Toogethr’ focuses on ‘ridesharing’ and is intended for all employees of all companies on our site. They can use the app free of charge for a year.

Employees who use the app are linked to each other to offer the possibility of driving to work and back together. By driving together, points are earned that can later be exchanged for products in the app's webshop. Riding together thus becomes super-easy, social, rewarding and sustainable.

Both pilots can be used in accordance with the RIVM Corona guidelines applicable at the time.
