This is what you will do as Programme Manager Next Tech Twente

Number of hours: 16-24 hours a week.

As Next Tech Twente Programme Manager, you will be the spider in the web between the business locations, companies, knowledge institutes, municipalities and intermediary parties. You will work on strengthening the collaboration and involvement at the top work locations in Twente:Kennispark Twente, Technology Base, High Tech Systems Park, XL Business Park Almelo and Connect-U. You will focus on positioning these locations as leading workplaces and meeting places, both within the region and beyond, by organising events between companies, talents and researchers. You will lead the Next Tech Twente programme team and be responsible for the development and implementation of the joint programme of the top work locations in Twente. You will develop an annual plan that sets out the strategy, priorities and KPIs, ensure its implementation and monitor and report on the (financial) progress and results of the programme. You will work with regional partners to identify opportunities, establish connections and further improve the business climate. You will also work on overarching communications aimed at involving current companies and attracting new companies, users and national and international visitors to the top work locations in sectors such as MedTech, ChipTech, Advanced Manufacturing, Materials, Smart IT, Robotics, Safety & Security and more.

As Programme Manager Next Tech Twente, you will work on behalf of the Top Work Locations Twente, Twente Board Development and the municipalities of Almelo, Hengelo and Enschede, Novel-T and you will be employed by Saxion. You will divide your time between the various locations. At Saxion, we train the employees of the future, we conduct leading-edge practical research and we strengthen cohesion in the region. As Next Tech Twente Programme Manager, you will work within the Centre for Entrepreneurship (SCvO).

The following salary scale: scale 12: min. €5,486 / max. €7,175 (collective labour agreement for higher professional education) for a full working week.

These are the job requirements

  • Higher professional education/university education level.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role, for example in programme management, marketing, communications, economic development or innovation, preferably in a complex environment with various stakeholders.
  • An entrepreneurial and market-oriented attitude, combined with strong organisational skills.
  • Collaborative, connecting personality, professional and able to switch quickly between different tasks and interests.
  • You are progressive and ambitious and know how to communicate and realise a vision.
  • An affinity with technology and innovation and a relevant network in the region is an advantage.
