In the Purchase Agreement of the former Twenthe Air Base signed by the Parties on 29 September 2010, a number of obligations on the part of the Ministry of Defence regarding soil remediation and clearance of ammunition are mentioned.
On 4 July, Parties signed the closing document by which Defence has fulfilled his/her obligations.
With regard to the soil contamination found with PFAS, the existence of which was not known when it was signed in 2010, an additional agreement was reached.
